What Is SMIPP

The Sheet Metal Industry Promotion Plan (SMIPP) is the funding entity of SMACNA-Cleveland. SMIPP receives monthly contributions from each hour worked by SMART Local 33 journeypersons and apprentices. SMIPP then distributes these monthly contributions to SMACNA-Cleveland to fund all of its operations in education, training, marketing, recruitment, and labor relations.
